| This is a one roomed pub that I used to visit regularly when a friend of mine lived just round the corner. I hadn�t visited for a while until last Friday. Nothing much has changed although the cask beer range has improved as it used to be a Boddingtons tied house many years ago. There were 4 handpumps on the bar with 3 beers on, Deuchars IPA, Thwaites Original and Black Sheep bitter, the Thwaites was fine. There�s seating all round the walls of the room along with tables and chairs and a few barstools, there�s also a quiz machine. It�s fairly basic really, but it�s a good friendly local.
