| As a local I wanted this to be good. Unfortunately it is not. Have just had Sunday lunch at � 10.95 for 1 course, it wasn't worth it. Everything on one plate, no veg dishes on the side. Mint sauce in a ramekin plonked on the plate!! Cutlery in a basket with sachets of sauces!!. More suited to a pub with a price tag of �6.99 Next time will go to The Royal Oak. | Didn't like it. Sorry. It's a soulless "tries to be posh" hotel bar. When we visited the place was snowed out with squawking pikeys all obviously out on a jolly. And I got the distinct impression that this is where this place specialises - being somewhere posh for the lower orders to go on special occassions.
