As a Regular visitor to Folkestone, i always chose to stay in the Black Bull Hotel. Not only are the rooms fairly priced, clean and comfortable, i find the manager and his wife very friendly extremely helpful, the pub itself is beautifully decorated, and the facilities and food are lovely, making every visit to folkestone a different experience,on one occassion, the pub was holding a charity event, which was great fun and had everyone involved,i would recommend anyone visiting folstone to give this pub a try, you wont regret it, jesse1 - 11 Dec 2004 13:17 |
Um, i dont think thats true now Paula is it! since the kitchen isn't even open at the moment because of the refurb that is going on!! me - 14 Oct 2004 19:13 |
paula is obviously friends with carl and they have prob been refused service for some reason or other apart from that, the manager is a woman who is very polite and treats people the same way she likes to be treated so i cant see her being rude to anyone for no apparent reason. sam - 14 Oct 2004 19:02 |
I have just had a bad experience here, the landlord was a big offensive looking man, i complained about my dinner and he told me that if i didnt like it, then sod off!!! how nice!!! apart from that the pub looks nice, but i understand now what Carl was saying , what a horrible man!!
