| Very nicely decorated country pub with plenty of knick knacks on the walls and behind the bar. As with many of the local Suffolk pubs I visited yesterday, it was very quiet, with only 2 customers and the owner's family. 4 real ales were on - Wychwood Hobgoblin, Adnams Broadside, Greene King IPA & Woodfordes Wherry. There is a bowling green alongside the pub to one side. The only thing that spoilt the pub was the number of flies. | Called here Sept 2012 for some lunch. Fairly standard rural pub, not poshed up and with a pool table, slot machines and large screen tv. Food tended towards the "value for money" end of the spectrum; my friends reckoned the fish'n'chips were good, with home made batter and if you're into curries, etc. this is for you.
