No sign of a pub here anymore. Assume the new-build housing has replaced it. blue_scrumpy - 3 Sep 2017 11:00 |
I believe this place has now been demolished and is now houses but please correct me if i am wrong. Never got to visit this pub and judging by the positive reviews and camra gbg entry i am suprised to see the pub gone. I guess that there is more money in property than there is pub these days. What are we all gonna do when all the pubs are gone? Stay indoors and go on twitter all evening? Farewell to another boozer montie49 - 1 Dec 2014 18:30 |
Shut pending the planning application to knock it down and build houses - another boozer bites the dust Thewriter - 27 Feb 2013 18:47 |
Well finally popped in for a quick pint, whilst driving through the area. A very warm welcome and a free selection of nibbles provided by the various locals I believe. Tried the Goats Leap very nice indeed, the locals drinking a variety of real ales, all of which were on. A real alers paradise i think, well at least 30 people in there when I left, not bad for a Sunday afternoon. Will be back....... james55westhead - 16 Jan 2012 06:24 |
Looked forward to returning after sampling a few well kept ales previously, atmos the, was spoilt only by the poor sod of a parrot kept prisoner in the bar. anyway, disappointed on return visit, had two pints of very cloudy RCH, had been told before that the brewer of said beer often drinks in there. would have been nice to have met him. rioathmusV - 6 Jun 2011 12:47 |
