| Nice, old style boozer! Really friendly, helpful staff - good laugh! Good pool table, darts in the lounge bar. Good juke box too. Decor is dated, but has a new carpet! Lorry drivers frequent this pub when staying over and locals are friendly! Outside area is fine, but covered ashtrays would help as the shallow tins means ash blows everywhere! It's a social pub - no events etc but a Sunday roast can be had. Best thing -the staff, welcoming. Worst - wine quality is poor and nasty ashtrays! A nice visit! trinsk - 8 Oct 2014 12:02 |

| This pub had 3 ales on, not too bad. They were from the Princeton brewery and I had the "Jail Ale". What were the names of those horrible blue creatures from cartoon back in the 80's..Smurfs?
