Odd place. Nice, worn wooden tables and floor but stark white walls, primary colour kids menus and lights give a strange creche-like impression. Bloomin nippy too. Oh deae, only Bombardier.... On the plus, the pizza menu looked great. curioushistory - 25 Feb 2013 14:36 |
I've been here a number of times and the service has always been excellent. However I went there on Tuesday to watch the football and despite it not being overly busy the wait for Pizzas was horrendous - about an hour. they blamed this on the fact that there was only one bloke making them - no offence but how long does it take to make a Pizza??? When challenged (by a guy on the next table) the dappy barmaid offered no real apology and was clueless almost to the point of being rude. Great pizza when it did turn up, but by then I think I'd chewed off my arm. piesey1 - 1 Jul 2010 12:39 |
Said it all in my review when it was still The Prince Regent. But I agree wholeheartedly with the other guys. secretdrinker - 26 May 2010 17:00 |
fast and friendly service even on a busy friday night after work. We ate a vege platter and a meat platter and both were very tastey (obviously fresh ingredients)We shared 4 pizza's and enjoyed every last scrap. The Pizzas in this place are the best in London without a doubt !! more Ales on tap would make this a 10/10 for me! jamunji - 28 Apr 2008 13:28 |
Looks like someone is finally making a go of this place after several failed attempts under different names. Free jukebox, good range of lagers (Peroni, Leffe, Heineken and more), excellent pizza. Good, if slightly drunken, atmosphere. Currently one of my favourite venues in the area. BobsHarmonica - 14 Apr 2008 20:01 |
