| Despite affable service, reasonable prices and surprisingly edible food, this cavern of a pub probably represents where the pub industry has gone wrong in recent years. Clearly devised by a focus group, the Case's inevitable domination of Wisbech is assured. Surely some concession could have been made to the proud local brewery Elgood's? As my friend pointed out, the irony is that the pub's designers probably live in Kensington and would never be seen dead in a place like this themselves.
