Good traditional boozer, close to the City Centre without being on top of it. Worth seeking out, three/four ales on, mine was in very good nick Wilson_MacDonald - 23 Oct 2018 17:49 |
Great place to sample good food and decent ale while your friends do a bit of God Bothering at the Cathedral. All beers were good and the Fish and Chips was excellent. gphillman - 28 Aug 2016 15:08 |
Relaxing friendly pub for a beer or two. Muzzy - 4 Jul 2015 10:23 |
Still a good pub for Kentish ales, Gadds #5, Canterbury Ales Knights Tale, Incuubus & a Wantsum beer were the selection on offer when I visited. recently. The music on the jukebox is varied and the service is quick and friendly. There was a nice mix of customers on my visit. A no frills pub you see what you get. outtamehead - 5 Apr 2015 14:11 |
Stopped by here in the afternoon for a couple of pints of Gadd's Dr Sunshine. Nice pub, quick & attentive service. Good music at just the right volume. Good place to go for unusual local Kent ales. ThePorkyOne - 18 Mar 2015 09:12 |
