What can I add? Still serving 2 ales on the handles (Speckled Hen and GK IPA), my curries (from 2 visits) have been excellent. Staff are very good too! Feed - 7 May 2011 21:22 |
This is a pleasant village local that specialises in fine Indian cuisine cooked by the two Indian chefs. The pub also offers excellent takeaways. There are two bars, a family room and a main restaurant room. Outside seating is provided in the flower-filled courtyard. Children and dogs are welcome. The public bar has a pool table, dart board, jukebox and games machine. RGibbs - 30 Aug 2007 20:09 |
Pleasant pub, friendly welcome. I've been here a couple of times before and it's been the same. The only downside being that there was only Greene King beer available, no guest ale (at least on this occasion). Watch out for the well in the gents (it has a thick glass cover)! blamm - 13 Jun 2007 11:24 |
New owners - new lease of life. This is a great old pub which has suffered in recent years, but the new owners have made a real difference. The beer and food have both cranked up a gear and it is well worth a visit. Alex Whitfield - 4 Sep 2006 20:40 |
