Now re-opened as a Wetherspoons (the Four Candles) after Ronnie Barker's Open All Hours skit. Barker went to school nearby. Not been in to see how good/bad it is. toaster - 2 Oct 2008 21:44 |
22-12-07. Yes this is a Slug now. But it's probably the worse Slug in the UK. Sign on the door stated open at 12noon as staff problems. So i had to get the famous Slug breakfast elsewhere. The doors opened at 1205. The table service was terribly slow. The place was less than a quarter full. There wasn't even toilet paper in the male or female toilets. Both were dirty. I asked for bitter and i was told they had none. Because of Christmas, this would mean at least 5 days without bitter. The Mezze platter was good. Change the management please... I might return... dcdevil69 - 23 Dec 2007 14:57 |
