Excellent friendly establishment with good bar staff, reasonably priced drinks. Mainly for the more "mature" type person from what I saw but well worth a visit. Flanag1 - 22 Jun 2011 16:39 |
Name of Establishment: Tap Othe Brae General Comments: Clean. Smoke free. Good range of spirits, beer, wine. Bar meals. Bar Length / Access: Limited. Crowded. Felt like I was imposing on some of the regular fixtures when I went to order my pint. Exterior: Bland. Low elevation. Dcor: Made a stab at Armadale history with old photos of the town circa the turn of the last century. Otherwise uninspired. Patrons: Late middle age. Mostly men. Looked liked they had spent much of their lives in this place. Boisterous, and foul-mouthed. Favourite adjective in patrons conversation: F***ing Recreation / Diversions: Pool table. This is where the younger crowd (a distinct minority) seemed to hang out. They seemed sort of depressed. Juke box. WhoDoMan - 27 Apr 2008 08:10 |
