Visited this place years ago..and this weekend. Good for a Saturday night bar..real ales on - nothing spectacular but a welcome change to the usual bar mentality of lager and WKD! However, only plastic glasses...and not a real cider in sight! Nptonexile - 27 Nov 2011 16:11 |
Yes this is a good boozer but we were slightly put off by a drunken racist yob in here. 8/10 for the pub 5/10 for the experience montie49 - 23 Oct 2011 16:10 |
great pub, good atmosphere and some thing different, prices aren't as bad as people are saying tbh peterc_drs - 4 Apr 2008 13:35 |
I have been a customer at the Cider Press for over three years and I absolutely love it!! The atmosphere is fantasic and the staff are all great!! Yes the prices are slightly more than some othe bars but I'd rather pay that and be guaranteed a good night than get cheap beer at an average venue. As for the "customer service being shit", that attitude ain't exactly perfect is it?! And "the bar maid who likes to rip people off", since when did bar maids make the prices?! This is a genuinely friendly, fun place to be which is proven by consistantly being one of the busiest pubs on the Barbican!! joey2 - 25 Jun 2006 10:50 |
oh my god. packed no room to move and full of nice cider. table dancing was also a good sport for some lasses and lads....interesting but like it all the same. Randy_Campbell - 21 Nov 2005 15:43 |
