When we popped in here early one saturday evening the place was packed.
Football was on the telly and it had a really good atmosphere.

There is one good thing about this pub, food is served all day. Sorry, two good things, prices are about 6.50.
Unfortunately, there are plenty of bad things to mention.
Only Tribute and the ubiquitous Doom Bar to choose from at 3.35 a pint.
The tide was in in the gents. The urinal trough was overflowing. Mind you - it did have a good head on it!!!
That wasn't the only crap. The piped music (rap with a c), not even by original artists, was far too loud.
The food at least was edible, although the home-made chips had a dry powdery taste.
Overall, what with the whiff from the bogs, the deafening "music" and expensive "ale" I was glad when it was time to leave.

I have recently been manhandled (literally picked up and thrown out of the pub by a bouncer) because I put money in the juke box and it did not play my music. I asked for my money back and the landlady (nice lady that she is) made the bouncers pick me up and throw me out. I am a law abiding citizen who has never been in the trouble with the police and I was carried out by bouncers for asking for my pound back - Avoid at all costs - I have never been so humiliated - the police say they can throw anyone out without any reason, so they cannot be prosecuted. In my book what they have done is theft...it may only be a pound, but how many people are being taken for a mug. Stay clear!!!

Excellent quayside pub with good beer and food. Given its location I was amazed at how cheap the food was given its quality (and quantity). Enjoy this one while you can as its proximity to the marina makes it a prime chain pub target if the landlord ever decides to sell.

No nonsense pub, alright for a pint or 2. The sheer volume of St George's cross flags and bunting is a little unnecessary!
