| Good Marstons Pub with Pedi, Hobgoblin & another ale called Painted Lady, which im guessing is brewed by Martsons. Lovely position against the Trent & Mersey Canal next to the New Inn. | Landed here on a thursday evening, resturant night. Very busy, food was amazing Thai.Didnt hear a bad comment from all the folk eating and loving it. | About 20-30 years ago was a legendary Pedi pub,with an old guy who had ran it for years,and it was always packed at weekends.Don't really like the layout now,foody orientated.Lots of seats outside but not much room inside if it starts to rain.It's also got a dirty great TV screen up.Average beer.Supped up and walked across to the New Inn. greyhead - 5 May 2012 14:26 |
