| Traditional old road house type of pub with an excellent reputation for food. Good wine list as well - available by the glass. It's now a regular drop in for us - dinner and a pint or two of Landlord is a pleasant and not too expensive evening out. Recommended. RB1066 - 10 Apr 2010 21:53 |
| More of a restaurant than a pub really. I've been in quite a few times for food while visiting relatives and I'm not sure I've ever seen anyone in the main bar who is just drinking. There is a pool room at the back that is a bit seedier than the main bar and does often have a few people drinking and playing pool. The bar staff are friendly and the service is good. Eaten several times and have no complaints about the food, a good mix of traditional pub fare and some more imaginative specials, as well as some Thai food.
