| The pub is just opposite the bus stop, we had just over 10 minutes before ours was due so we decided to have a swift half. Abbot and IPA was the choice but because we are not G/K fans we decided on Guinness. It did seem a strange choice to serve them in Carling branded glasses. A band was playing whilst we were there and it was difficult to have conversation due to the sound level. The band were ok it just seemed a bit too loud for a pub. | Large single bar with a seperate pool and darts room. only real ales were GK IPA and Tetley cask which in my opinion are not worth drinking. Big screen TV pub. A bit tatty but with re-decoration could be OK.person behind the the bar was friendly though. anonymous - 23 Jul 2006 08:39 |
