| A decent place that looked like it did good food (we didn't eat here). As the previous reviews have said it does get busy here. We eventually managed to get the seat in the window and watch the tide come in on a stormy afternoon as the pub is in a great location with a fantastic view of the beach. My only complaint is that even on a Saturday the last orders bell chimed at 1500 kicking every one out, we would have stayed for at least a couple more as i'm sure others would have too. 8/10 montie49 - 23 Feb 2014 12:52 |

| Fine beers and fine food in a lovely location opposite the beach, with a beautiful view across the Torridge Estuary to the sea and Lundy Island in the distance. I had a delicious chicken dish with salad, but be warned, this place is extremely popular, we just happened to be there as it opened it's doors at 6 and witnessed the hilarious sight of people dashing from their parked cars to get in, within a couple of minutes every table was taken! oxenhillshaw - 22 Aug 2007 10:36 |
