Fairly standard beers on visit, Tribute, HSD and London Pride. fugglehops - 21 Jul 2019 18:54 |
A large pub, (for Looe anyway) virtually opposite the railway station with plenty of seating outside for a sunny day. One large room inside which was packed at time of visit (off season) with mostly locals who were all very friendly. An excellent pint of Timothy Taylor 'Landlord' on tap at time of visit. One of the better options for Looe. ridleyman - 3 Nov 2018 12:24 |
The regular beer seems to be Tribute, with two changing. On my visit it was Exmoor Gold and Landlord. Quite roomy inside but more people outside enjoying the afternoon sunshine. fugglehops - 27 Jul 2018 21:34 |
Visited at Easter. Food was good and the beer was reasonable. Locals pub but felt friendly. A couple of pub dogs wandering around but didn't cause a problem with our own greyhound. addlened - 27 Apr 2016 11:45 |
A fine looking place with one of the best outside seating areas in Looe (most have none at all!). It is the first obvious choice of pub for anyone arrive by train on a pub crawl. It is a little out of town but only by a bit which means a lot less tourists. I had a pint of 'proper job' which was very good and made a change from Tribute and Doombar which all the others pubs seemed to love. Not a bad place and excellent if using the train. 7/10 montie49 - 24 Oct 2014 18:22 |
