What a great little pub. Small bar area as you enter off the street with an open fire on the go giving the place a whiff of woodsmoke. Quite a few locals at the bar who were all very friendly. Hobgoblin 'Gold' on tap, which was in excellent condition at time of visit (off season). To go to the gents you pass through the pool room then up and down some steps to get to it.....a traditional 'urinal'..... very few of these left! All in all the best pub that we found on a Looe crawl. Do go in if passing ridleyman - 3 Nov 2018 12:00 |
Basic pub with a lively clientele. Good pool table(free when we were there). Can get quite rowdy when there is live music. addlened - 27 Apr 2016 11:52 |
Not a bad place at all. Pleasant interior with fireplace, it must get really packed in here as it is quite small. Ale was fine too. A very amusing eccentric chap with a cloak and massive green shoes was at the bar drinking and chating to the locals. My only complaint was that the telly was on a little loud playing awful music. 7/10 montie49 - 21 Oct 2014 18:38 |

Enterprise Inns, what are you doing??!! This was the best pub in Looe. In fact, the fact that its no more would make us think twice of staying there again. The owners were so kind and friendly. Tragic waste of a great pub. mph - 29 Jun 2013 22:56 |
