I would give minus point if I could. What was expected to be a nice quiet drink in the bear garden on a lovely sunny day was totally spoilt. The land lady is unpleasent and her staff unhelpful would never go to this pub again and have reccommended to all my friends to give it a wide birth, especially as there are plenty of other, better pubs near by. alc1 - 1 Jul 2010 15:58 |
Visited the Waterloo at the weekend. What a great pub. It had a real buzz about it. Some other pubs were quiet, but there were lots of people in here and it was great to see people enjoying themselves. Not sure who the landlord and landlady were (David & Alison form the previous poster might still be there), but well worth a visit. ShakeyWakeyDrinker - 5 May 2009 22:55 |
