Gone for good. Becoming yet another Tesco express. Like the town really needs another one of those!!!!!! winstone - 1 Nov 2011 21:33 |
The landlord and landlady are charming but sadly this pub is let down by the "youth" clientelle. Beer isn't bad but it doesn't deserve the overall score it has at the moment. George_The_Dragon - 21 Aug 2009 12:00 |
A good ox. SausagesandMash - 16 Dec 2006 11:06 |
The food is excellent here, can be a little too "young" even for me particularly at night but everyone really friendly. Good place to start your night out. Agree with Meridian; Landlord & Landlady are the best! cindydoll - 21 Apr 2006 12:50 |
Excellent pub. Great friendly atmosphere. Des & Allie are the best landlord and landlady. Very good atmosphere, jukebox, pool table, quiz machine and fruit machines. Seperate lounge bar. Pub serves very good food. Staff are very good and friendly. You can tell most of the customers are regular's, but new faces are always made welcome. A very good night out, even as a stop off before going into town. Meridian - 26 Sep 2005 11:47 |
