The Bispham Hotel, Blackpool

This is a splendid ale house! Originally recommended by Lord Spooky (no relation), this pub boasts a fine selection of Samuel Smiths ales in attractive glasses which retail at highly reasonable prices.

The Old Vic, Preston

A decent pub to use if you've got a half hour to spare inbetween trains - just opposite the main station entrance.

Although the exterior has recently been given a lick of paint, the interior is starting to look a little shabby although there are always 3 or 4 real ales to choose from.

Limited food menu available, and very small concrete beer garden.

An absolutely marvelous ale house with Sam Smiths ales a'plenty. Within walking distance of Bispham tram stop, there is simply no excuse not to travel on a Blackpool Corporation Tram to and, if possibly from, this fine establishment.
