I love this pub. i find the staff so friendly and the food is always really tasty. They are undergoing a huge refurbishment this month and i can't wait to see it. i reccomend the lunch club as you can have a meal, drink and desert for only 5.00. Well worth it. samwrite - 9 Jun 2010 20:17 |
We have been to The Mill once or twice and found the food ok. Unfortunately, although the drinks are great, with a good variety, the standard of food has dropped dramatically, in fact, the sunday lunch was inedible. The chicken had been micro waved into oblivion and was like shoe leather. The management were not receptive and tookpayment from our card as we had a tab running. We will not go there again. Next time we'll be going to The Lamb inn on the maRSH ROAD. nrl10 - 18 Apr 2010 18:55 |
I recently went to the mill in Eastbourne and found it was excellent. The staff were friendly and our food arrived quickly and hot. This seems to be due new management. The manager Andy Burrage was very helpful and made us feel very welcome, there is a new menu where you can get main meals at 3.99. My kids loved the play area and the fish. Would reccommend this pub to anyone especially families. samwrite - 1 May 2009 20:44 |
i recently returned to the mill after leaving it a while as i also found this pub to be a bit rubbish when i came about a year ago. however, on my most recent visit i found the pub to have undergone a radical shake up of staff, training, quality of drink and food. i believe there has been a change of management; a young lady was in charge when i visited and by all accounts she seems to have done an excellent job at turning this pub around.for those of you that have been to this pub and found it less than satisfactory i recommend you revisit and see the vast improvement for yourself. steph1982 - 30 Jun 2008 15:05 |
