Agree with Mothola, food is very expensive and tasteless. We have attended on a Friday night and during the day. The noise on Friday nights is unbelievable, the pub has music nights then. Drunken girls screaming, the bass is so loud windows must be rattling around the village, people pissing on neighbors gardens. There seems to be people living in the sheds behind the pub. I would hate to own a home with in 200 yards of it, the noise pollution must be unbearable. To bad it is not a little country pub, such a shame for the village and villagers.

Enjoyed the Sunday lunchtime buffet. As well as a decent selection of Thai dishes (some quite spicy), the buffet included roast lamb and veg, plus apple pie and fruit. A very good deal for 10.

Nice pint of Triple FFF Alton's Pride.

Hi,
Popped in for lunch on the way to somewhere. Well very local feel to the place, and friendly, and in it that respect i like it.
The downside is the terrible Thai food we had.It tasted like i had cooked it with a while suffering from a hang over ie careless and tastless.
The prawns were rubbery and the noddles just bad.
Shame as we were hoping for better-much better.

Thai food is expensive and not particularly good. as a pub it would be great. Terrible decor in the resaurant. Nothing like a London pub at all. Distinctly rural with a rural atmosphere. good range of ales and generally good atmosphere.

This is different. Combinines Thai restaurant with what feels oddly like a London local that has been bodily transported to the West Sussex woodland, complete with clientele, oddly enough. Worth visiting at least once a year, when the pub creates the fantastic Eastern Cultural Fair, taking over the woods and clearings opposite the pub, filling them with Thai and other eastern food stalls plus Asian entertainments and exotica, a little bit of Glastonbury landed in West Sussex.
