haven't eaten here since Burns night 2008. The lease changed hands about the end of 2007. It seems to be a pub destined to go down hill, and never have the reputation of the true village pub. Very few of the Beoley residence visit the place, and is frequented by more people who live on Redditch estates. It has tried fine dining, but couldn't quite live up to expectations. The present owners perhaps should canvas the local residents and find out what they feel is missing from the place. The new owner doesn't see a new face as a prospective customer, and tends not to engage them in conversation. Crumhorn - 2 Dec 2008 12:47 |
I recommend this pub wholeheartedly. The food and service is outstanding. For the really high standard of food the prices are reasonable. We were made to feel very welcome and had a really good time. We shall certainly visit again! Churchpolly - 21 Mar 2007 19:40 |
Not always a good idea for the owners to post their own comments. Good food, not had a bad meal. A bit pricey, but cannot fault the quality. Beer prices a bit OTT, e.g. 2.65 for Stella! ppgm1953 - 4 Oct 2005 16:55 |
