Cask Marque accredited. Central bar, with a huge dining room attached to the back. Strangely, the Log burner appeared to be pumping the smoke into the pub. Beer wise, it was a bit uninspired, with just the staples of Doom Bar and Golden Hen available. The Doom Bar was in excellent condition. My Name is Robert, Myself and my Partner Jennie are taking the pub over in early september 2009. We are both in our 30's and want to change the pub back into a traditional family Local again. serving homecooked food. We want to do events throughout the year, starting with a pumpkin cometion for kids at halloween. We hope you will come and see us, when we take over any ideas please let us know. If you have any pictures from the area of years gone by, if we could copy them that would be great Jennie2kayleigh - 25 Aug 2009 11:39 |
i visited the swan last week with 4 friends for a meal well to say i wish that i hadnt bothered was an under statement. i had the lamb and when it came i thought they had given me a childs portion. there were two small pieces of lamb two spuds two roasters one and i mean one slice of carrot and 4 green beans and that was it.the other meals were just as bad .we had the crumble for desert we had to send it back because it wasnt even cooked.a true waste of time and money. please think twice befor eating here. dasman - 6 Apr 2007 13:22 |
