Mum and dad popped in this evening and found themselves overhearing staff chuckling about Facebook messages, they were proud to speak about a family who had a meal there and weren't happy, I can't realy understand why the customers needed to know this? Needless to say mum and dad finished their drink and left. harryswife - 12 Sep 2014 23:06 |
Really need to update my review of this pub. Tuesday nights at the time of writing this review are Steak Nights with very good quality food being served at two for 20 deals. Now for the beer, I am not the only one commenting on the quality, the Banks Bitter is the BEST pint i have ever had up to now and also The Marstons Pedigree is superb whatever you are upto in the cellar keep it up. at the moment, Best beer in the area by a country mile !! Marstons pub that we visited yesterday when we found the Griffin was closed. Banks's Bitter, Banks's Mild, Ringwood 49er, Pedigree and Cumberland Ale were all served. The main bar area was fairly traditional, whilst there was also a lounge bar to the rear. The clientele in the bar were a slightly aging lot with a strange sense of humour. No, we won't be buying you any drinks! blue_scrumpy - 15 Apr 2010 22:32 |
