| Has been nicely refurbished and well worth a visit if in the town. Dartmoor's Jail Ale, Otter Bitter and Hunter's Devon Dreamer were the cask ales on Saturday with Thatchers Gold and Sheppy's Oakwood as the ciders. We didn't stay to eat but the menu looked like the higher end of pub grub without being too gastro. We enjoyed the sun in the small courtyard (not a garden) but I have to confess that I can't rate the beer on this occasion as it was just a soft drink for me (but I hope I have given someone an idea of what they have to offer). paul_d102 - 23 Jul 2013 19:59 |

| We are summer school holiday afternoon regulars and really rate this pub. Great Bar & Beer Garden. Excellent Food. Friendly Management and staff. Well-kept beer too! Would try the rooms just on the strength of what else is on offer. threeravensmoor - 15 Jan 2009 14:22 |

| With reference to spratters comment - I would say that his comment is now out of date. There is a new chef that has improved the menu, we ate there in August on a busy Saturday night and I must say that the food was excellent. Brilliant fish dishes and pates!! phoebedog - 26 Sep 2007 11:55 |
