Friendly welcome on my several (Day time) visits recently. Cosy interior with front and back bars, and an outside area to enjoy in the decent weather. Had London pride, Dartmoor I.P.A. and Avocet on during my visits. All of which in good condition. Also heard a few with local accents asking for the cider, so guess that was good as well. Food was nice, from an extensive menu. All freshly prepared. Well worth a visit

4th pub of the day while I was dragging the wife and friends (one of them was driving) around Dartmoor and the surrounding area.

Quaint little pub situated in the centre of this small village.

The front bar was full of tables that were reserved for diners, while the back room had a pool table and a small seating area. Further to the back of the pub and towards the toilets and beer garden is a large function room and another bar.

Busy bar with 3 locals sat enjoying their beers and a chat.

4 ales on which were Fullers London Pride and 3 offerings from Red Rock. I opted for pints of Red Rock's Pale Ale and a Best Bitter, both decent but the Pale Ale was better.

Nice enough pub with low beams throughout and fully carpeted.

Again a tick for me

I'm amazed to find that it's nearly 5 years since I last visited this place, but I was delighted to find that it was just as I remembered it. It calls itself Moreton's traditional pub, and that's just what it is - a real focus for the local community. Good beer, good atmosphere: excellent.

The best pub in Moreton by far.
This was the first pub my friend and I went to on our Moreton pub crawl.
We should have just stayed in here all night! We thought all the pubs would be great but this is not so.
This is the only pub i would go back to in this village.

9/10

Liked the pub a lot, though beer possibly suffering a bit from early in the day and week syndrome. Friendly, and liked the mini-museum on the way to the loos !
