The Two Chairmen, Trafalgar Square

was last in this in the mid 80s when it had the look & feel of a 50s battlecruiser
back 20 yrs later and am pleased to say that they ain't changed nuffink
OK food and a grand pint of wallop,
can't fault that in this neck o' the woods
another good thing: not a septic tank in earshot; brilliant

The Prince of Wales, Twickenham

Decent pint in comfortable neighbourhood pub, the kind that is fast disappearing; either they are closed down or repostioning themselves as overpriced mediorce restaurants. Not a lot of folk the night I was in but have seen a few folk in there oftentimes passing.
