It's pretty grimy already, it hasnt been cleaned since the new owner took over. The toilets were ripped out then (about 2 years ago) and havent been put back yet. They are some of the worst i have encountered and i feel sorry for girls who need to sit down for the loo.

A friend once found a shit in the middle of the girls' loo (not in the cubicle) and the staff wouldnt do anything about it. They said "step over it"

Toilets so digusting I walked out. Food was rubbish, glasses dirty, tables sticky. Not a pleasant experience.

I really wish that people would understand that the toilets are the first thing to rectify in a pub. I will not go in here until they are made to look like someone has made half an effort on them. it is frankly disgusting to smell ten year old piss when i am in the bog. You charge enough for your beer, GET A MAN IN TO FIX THEM COS THEY STINK, and put your prices down

Brilliant find, staff really friendly, but not in an alarming way - food was great and good value we felt. A work in progress to some extent, but once toilets are complete it will tip top.

As Marmite says, this place is now run by Colin from the Exchange.
This is a massive improvement over the old Coach House and soon the name is changing to Alfies (as in King Alfred!).
The pub is a good size and has a big court yard with an outside games room housing a pool table, table football and a 42" plasma.
