Was here again today after being outside in the really heavy rain. A top pint of IPA by the wood burner was a treat. As ever a warm welcome from the Landlord and the food was great. pchaimba - 14 Nov 2009 20:27 |
Top pub. IPA is consistently well kept and the food is good. Landlord and landlady always make you feel welcome. pchaimba - 4 Jan 2009 22:43 |
What a find .. a great pub, welcoming staff, brilliant well priced and scrumptious food, highly reccommended. Particularly good beer and great to find somewhere thats comfortable for once. A great treat. Keep up the good work and lets hope it doesn't become too popular !! scrumpyjack - 15 Jul 2008 12:42 |
Good unspoiled country pub, battered leather armchairs, fires, pub grub of the old skool. Greene King ales. Top of the range pub dog. Best pub in and around Midhurst that we know of. myPetersfield - 23 Feb 2007 22:57 |
This is a great pub for the young-at-heart if not the young in age. With no juke box, pool table or fruit machines it is a wonderful place for a drink and a chat, just like in the old days with car park and a garden for the summer months. The food is pretty hearty too!! TheColonel - 14 Oct 2006 07:05 |
