| This is a REAL pub, no fancy music, gimmicks etc. If you like the traditional pub atmosphere, settings, welcome, real ales and a friendly "Guvnor" then you MUST visit. Back to the days when pubs were pubs. Food is amazing, as is everything else. DO IT! racysilver - 20 Feb 2012 19:42 |
| Friendly welcome for 2 thirsty strangers from staff and regulars, wish we had a pub like this at home. At another pub in Midhurst had no-one behind the bar and while we idly waited a dog threw up on th floor, so we left and found this gem instead. c_and_j - 17 Aug 2011 11:22 |

| Nice little pub, though yo uhave to park in the main town car park a few streets away. Very friendly, very busy, andyet the landlord always seemsto have time to talk to locals and strangers alike. Knows his beer, and serves a most quaffable pint! Used to be much lamented King and Barnes of Horsham, but isevery bit as good now! Traditional pub food and sandwiches also worth investigating, though not particularly cheap!
