We arrived to camp. We were welcomed, really welcomed, not just pointed in the direction. There were showers proper washing facilities, clean toilets - fab view from the soft grass on the site. Having put up the tents we went in the pub to discover a proper pub, real beer (and cider :) ) + the most unexpected bonus, proper home cooked curry. Two of us - all evening beers and ciders, 2 curries (fresh monk fish and coconut chicken + sides + camping under 60. A good night. Plus to top it all, somehow on the way out I dropped my wallet - in the morning there it was on the pub bar, with all its contents still in place. A superb service.

Pretty decent as a pub.

On the B & B side of things it was mainly a success.

Friendly service at breakfast, with a good choice of full English items. The bed was very comfy and the wooden decked balcony was a nice touch and something you don't normally find in a B & B. The bungalow style room with wooden blacony, almost made it feel like a 1950's Californian apartment.

The only negetive part was the shower. I do like a decent shower in a B & B / Hotel and this one was a sad pathetic trickle.

Still, not bad value for 70.

Beer in fairly good nick following a recent visit. Stayed at their B&B - breakfast was wonderful. The accommodation would have been better but for what felt like the world's oldest thinnest mattress and a rather damp room.

Good friendly pub. Excellent beer. Good food. We kept returning.

We stayed B&B here in April, and took advantage of all the pubs facilities. Beer was excellent and well kept, but the selection of curries on the menu was amazing, especially after 8 miles on the South West Coast Path. Some of the finest food we sampled during a weeks walking. B&B accomodation was also excellent for walkers, and we watched the sun set from our balconies. Village had all the right facilities in the morning on the doorstep of the pub. Made note to return and try the campsite out the back.
