The Molesworth Arms Hotel, Wadebridge

Visited for a pint and also stayed in the B&B accomodation upstairs. New owners (only been in 6 weeks) have got plans for the B&B side of things, enjoyed a pint with the locals in Alans Bar (you get a choice of three bars), a bit lively with the boys having been drinking all daylight hours of the bank holiday, but beer (Tinners) good quality. Centrally located, and a good breakfast in the restaurant, interesting old coaching inn features and stone floors.

The Raven, Bath

Possibly the best Sunday pint and pie I have ever had. It does'nt get much better than this. Raven Gold was off, so sampled the remaining local ales which were excellent. I can comment on the the female toilets, though compact, were clean and suggested a recent refurb. Go here, its cracking.

The Swan, Bank

Visited a couple of weeks ago after work on a Friday night, and had a great evening. The Fullers was well kept and the guest beer, Nottingham Gold, was super. We enjoyed the samples of beer before we committed ourselves, especially served in minature pint glasses. We felt very welcome, and spent most of the time in the upstairs bar with the ale lovers.
