Beefeater attatched to a Premier Inn. Visited on a Saturday at 1pm , not overly crowded but most people eating.Ales on pumps were Brains Bitter, Adnams Bitter and St Austells Tribute. I noticed a tendancy to short measure by one barman when rushed.Despite the old exterior its a modern, comfortable place. Abingdon has better to offer the real ale drinker but you will have to visit the town centre for that. For an overnight stop this fits the bill. bee578 - 26 Apr 2009 08:36 |
Stopped for a meal. Never again. Poor food, very expensive for what we got, poor service & beer was not up to much either. If this is what Beefeaters are like I will avoid them g4ramsay - 3 Apr 2009 16:28 |

Great for lunch, nice food and comfortable. Can get a bit crowded and occasionally rowdy at night though. Gorgeous barman!! cindydoll - 21 Apr 2006 12:43 |
A hideous monstrosity. The outside shows promise but inside you can still smell the varnish drying on the laminated wood interior. Been there twice and both times the beer was a little cloudy, to be fair at least they did sell an IPA (Flowers) but I can only assume that I was the first one to order one in a while.
