I've been to this pub a few times and my wife and we like it. Good food, good service (mostly). It is quite pricey and is trying to look modern-esque. For a current menu with prices go visit the McMullen website. KoiMad - 10 Oct 2008 19:13 |
One of those "pubs" where they want you to eat rather than drink and then clear off as quickly as possible so they can free up the table for somebody else. This is a perfect example of bean counters taking over pubs and not giving a toss about tradition or heritage. RolandDeschain - 29 Jul 2008 09:29 |
I visited the pub on Thursday as the manager from the Millstream said it was a nice place to go, a little upper market i was told! YEAH RIGHT! The place looks realy nice, could do with a bit of a clean! The manager from the millstream should go visit it. I realy didnt like it, I was served by I assume the manager, so rude! This pub has changed alot. It has had a re-dec, new staff and good food. Non smoking, and good McMullens real ale. Good pub! anonymous - 14 May 2007 13:44 |
Visited this pub today on the way to the airport, the waitress behind the bar took our order, which we had to pay for straight away, and yes VERY EXPENSIVE, sat down to have our meal to find she'd not even ordered one of our meals, assuming she's reordered 4 of us eat our meal and wait for the 5th, which doesnt come, the waitress service was diabolical, and when we complained to management all he did was grin. I for one would not recommend this pub to anyone skegchick - 10 Sep 2006 20:13 |
