Three of us went here Saturday lunchtime. The car park off the road leads through a gate to the pub garden with benches and tables to sit.The half timbered exterior building sits in this attractive setting. There was a King and Barnes and a Badger bitter on draught. However as i was driving i had a Becks alcohol free lager. The barman was friendly and efficient. The two dogs with us were allowed in although one of our group felt a hint of unwelcome atmosphere particularly from the lady behind the bar who was possibly the landlady. There was a good selection of food which was served quickly. The rear of the pub has a large dining area.We sat just outside this area because of the dogs.We enjoyed desserts and tea/coffee afterwards and stayed here for a few hours. The toilets and hand washing facilities were very clean and tidy.We will not go here again due to the attitude from the landlady whose manner made one of our party feel unwelcome and not relaxed and comfortable. There are plenty of other places we can go to instead so our experince here gets a 6/10.

Was in the Six Bells lastnight for a freind's birthday with Karaoke, such a good time had by all, young barmaid (maybe vicky her name) really lovely very obviously liked alot by locals and had a smile for me each time i ordered, waited for her to serve me as standard of her pints of guines just great. waits for the settle and doesn't rush. one other here and many other pubs just do wrong. irish landlady has taught her well!

This used to be my local back in 1970, when I first got married.
Here I was taught how to play bar billiards 'properly' but most of the old boys that I played in the team with are probably dead by now. Ye Olde Six Bells will, however, always hold a place in my heart.

Met some friends here for lunch yesterday. Lovely log fire, great service and we all enjoyed our food. If I lived closer I would definitely visit again.

Just visited this pub after receiving information it had new managers. I went with my family and met the new people. They are trying to change the image of the pub. It looks cleaner and brighter and the menu is really good. There is a childrens' menu as well which is really unique, designed by the Landlords grandchildren
The atmosphere is friendly and the staffare helpful and nice. I will be back to try the food but think it is well worh a visit.
