Thank goodness that a good couple have rescued the pub. Excellent range of Beers with frequent changes, well cared for by competent bar staff. Would recommend without reservation.

Thsi pub is going from strength to strength. There are a few changes to the original details of a few years ago. There is bar billiards table rather than a poole table and there is no disabled toilet. Being a Free House, there is a constantly changing range of quality real ales and ciders with a local theme. The decor is fresh and clean having been refubished by the new owners in Feb. 2011. We have eaten there several times and recommended friends who have all said how good the food is. The menu is wide ranging and has some unusual items which are individual to the Establishment. Live entertainment is now starting to be introduced with Open Mike nights. We now travel 5 miles at weekends to go there we are so impressed with the beer and food.

After yet another extended closure the pub has again reopened, this time as a free house ( I hear thunderous applause!!!!!!! ) Tribute, Crop Circle and Doombar on at the moment. Early days but looking good!
