| This is a good country inn which serves Everards beers (including Mild) and good food in a nicely looked after pub. On my last visit (Cossington open gardens 7/5/12) they also had Oakham ales J.H.B. (Jeffrey Hudson Bitter) on tap. Food is good, they tend to have themed nights (Fish, steak, pie etc...). | A friendly village local, this pub serves excellent beer. Despite being owned by the omnipresent (in leicestershire) Everards brewery, it manages to squeeze in some guest ales, which change on a regular basis and are always well kept. The bar staff are friendly, and have a good memory for faces and drinks! Probably my favourite watering hole in Leicestershire pubscouter - 13 Sep 2007 19:43 |
