The Royal Inn, Horsebridge

Visited twice on two consecutive nights while staying near Tavistock.

Brilliant food and perfectly served beer both nights, along with friendly service.

Will definitely eat here again when next in the area.

The Moon Under Water, Cheltenham

Typical spoons pub. You know you're going to get ok food at a good price. Surprisingly quiet on a rainy saturday lunchtime - no queue at the bar and food came really quickly. Burgers and mixed grill were all good. Didn't sample the beer (although there was a good range) as had consumed a fair quantity the night before - the coffee was good though! Toilets clean and the general pub area was in good condition with interesting decor

The Kings Head, Bristol

Very narrow little pub, doesn't look much from outside (and the net curtains dont make it look as welcoming as it really is. Nice pint of Butcombe Gold sat outside on a sunny day.
