please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

Super location - opposite the church. Beadnell itself is delighful - get to the bay for a walk and pop in here for a pint after.

Inside, its mainly setup for the holiday food crowd - huge menu, with some nice looking specials.

Three real ales on - two from Allendale Brewery and a Farne Island. The Farne Island was in lovely condition. The Allendale Wagtail was far too cold.

Very busy and popular pub even in late September.

Great beer garden and dog friendly pub in the heart of the village.

Didn't try the food, however, most people visiting did and it looked good!

Cask beer was in my opinion too cold which unfortunately dulled the taste.

Packed on hot Saturday with beer festival in garden. £5 for glass & 1 pint – I don't think so pal!
Only two beers inside – Marstons EPA (tasteless) and the syrupy classic, Strongarm (fine, if you like it).
Service remarkably good given number of customers, including food, which was fine but not cheap.

Good pub overall. I agree with doctorpint, the pub has a modern feel within a lovely old building and certainly aims at food. Great garden which is safe for kids and a good range of beers to boot. The walk from here to Seahouses is breathtaking...

This pub is basically a large eatery, although there is nothing wrong with this. We ate there and the food was okay but what impressed me was a marquee outside selling lots of small breweries' real ales at very reasonable prices. My lady wife got a bit irritated with me constantly going for another beer throughout our meal but I wasn't going to miss out on the likes of Maxim Lambton Pale Ale and High House Farm Auld Hemp. Splendid effort chaps!!

August Bank Holiday Saturday saw the successful staging or a free 12 hour music festival called "Crastonbury". I would personally like to thank Michael and his staff for putting on such a enjoyable event. I am sure there are many more surprises to come from the Craster Arms team

The pub has installed a Marquee in the garden for the duration of the world cup with a very large screen and some interesting offers on beer and whitby wholetail scampi
