Bridge Hotel, Stanford Bridgeback to pub details please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.
After spending much of my adult life searching for the perfect pub here in the UK and abroad, the one closest to home wins for me. The quality, ever-changing variety and consistency of beers served at The Bridge in the last five years acts as a 'golden benchmark' by which to judge other alehouses. Put another way, in the lexicography of pubs and beer, "going to The Bridge," is akin to "supping from the Holy Grail" of expertly kept and delivered beers. For any skeptics - simply drive along the Teme Valley to The Bridge stimulating your thirst by savouring the fragrant smell of local hop orchards. Then taste what is on offer - you won't be disappointed.

I'm Italian, the very first time I went there I was looking for a tipical country english pub and it was, at least for me. Good food, very good beers and nice people in there. Of course it was the first but not the last time I went there.

Great pub with restaurant. Lovely atmosphere, Mouth watering home brewed ales and good honest wholesome food, and yes you will want to come back again and again

Quality hostelry, with superb ale and good quality pub food. Seasonal events regularly, my favourites are the duck race and the Octoberfest, the landlord always has an opinion (go on ask him anything) the only negative (that's why I gave it a 9) is they used to have another great landlord that's no longer there, can't remember his name though, but he was a good looking chap with lots of hair. If you're in the area definitely worth a visit.

I received a notification on facebook that invited me to leave feedback here as I have liked their page....(I expect that is why there is so many recent reviews steve2905) Brilliant beer, very helpful staff, excellent food, always a fun friendly atmosphere. Lovely newly done up sports bar downstairs to watch to footie in and have a game of pool. Great pub :)

3 glowing reviews in just over an hour - all by first timers. I smell a rat, but I'll let you draw your own conclusions ...

Popped in for the first time in ages a few weeks ago. I had always remembered the Bridge to be a very good pub and I wasn't disappointed to find that it still is, if not a little better. It seemed to me to have a much brighter ambient feel to the place, the bottom room that had once seemed to be isolated had undergone a bit of a re-fit and now gives the impression of being a nice snug little place to watch sport or have a game of pool. Regards the food it was much to my approval, and being the greedy bugger I am I ordered 2 starters and a main, in hindsight one starter would have been more than enough as the dishes were more than enough to satisfy my appetite, the main course(roast beef with all the trimmings) was beautifully prepared, the meat cooked just right and a huge accompaniment of veg to go with it. The standard of ale was as I had always remembered it to be, plenty of choice, reasonably priced and all good quality cask ales. Although not a cider drinker I was impressed by the range of bottled and hand-pulled ciders available.. Looking forward to the summer and going for a few pints in the beer garden.

Found this little gem with my friend Dan - popped in for a quick bite and was overjoyed to see six cask beers (Hobsons Twisted Spire, Popes Worcester Gold, Wye Valley Hereford Pale Ale, Raw Zenith and Salopian Golden Thread) on offer, all seemingly in good nick. They also had four traditional ciders as well as four on keg - i might be popping back in the summer! The food was traditional pub grub done well, and the place had a proper county pub feel about it and real character - recommended.

6 real ales, 4 trad ciders and great homecooked food. Salopian Golden Thread was on today as one of the guests and it was damn fine! Nice barmaid, too!

Looks like Victorian mock Tudor from the outside with the interior being a traditionally furnished standard pub. GBG 2014 and a well-appreciated selection of real ales and ciders - today's ale offerings were Doom Bar, Hobsons Twisted Spire and Green Hop, Wye Valley HPA, Wood's Holy Cow and Pope's Worcester Gold (£2.90 and in great condition) with the real ciders being Hairy Ferret's Traditional Scrumpy and Gwynt Y Ddraig Black Dragon (and also their Two Trees Perry). Standard ciders were Robinsons, Strongbow, Thatchers Gold and Stowford Press all between £3.20-£3.40. I had a good roast beef lunch for £8.95 (two dishes of veg for me alone) and, while the service was a tad slow, this didn't matter in the slightest as we were all enjoying ourselves. A good place to find after our walk around Great Witley.

Called in on our recent whistle stop tour of pubs in worcs. It was very busy at 5.30 on a Friday. A lovely mix of locals and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. Good selection of beers - though unable to sample any, my soda and lime and bag of crisps and pickled egg was great. I can see this becoming a favourite local along with The Fox down the road. I can give it 7 this time as didn't try the beer myself.

Dropped in for lunch last week. Friendly service behind the bar, a good pint and a very edible baguette.
