Closed down when I last passed by.

Situated dangerously on a busy roundabout. They tried to have bar billiards here once, but they stuck it the wrong place, hard against the bar, and unsurprisingly it didn't take off. Memories of my visit was that the drinks were a bit pricey. No reason to re-visit.

I stopped at this pub for lunch on Saturday, with my daughter and her friend. The landlady was so welcoming and we had a fantastic meal. The home made burgers were excellent and the chips were the best I have eaten. I would recommend this pub and will definitely be going there again.

Went out for lunch today with my mum. She is suffering with cancer and cannot manage large meals so when we were offered a "kids portion" by the waitress she was very happy. Only trouble is the landlord/manager said this was not allowed as it is against policy. The food was nice but to anyone who requires understanding service then I do not recommend this place. In the end he was very unsympathetic and did not care at all. I was paying full price and it just seemed he was more interested about getting more money rather than customer service. Will not be returning.

Beer nice and cold. Food isn't very good. My Tuna salad had a bone in it! Nice location, staff aren't very friendly and a bit chav.

Pleasant pub situated on the mini-roundabout in Ansty. Service is friendly, and they had no problem changing a very vinegary pint of White Wing (Hammerpot) that was quite noticeably off for Harvey's Best which was fine. There is a varied menu with main courses ranging from about 8 to 15, although cheaper snacks are available. I had a salmon fillet which was very nice. Seating is divided between the bar area with an open fire at one end, and a separate restaurant-style dining area.
The pub adjoins a local garage and the car park is a little awkward and crowded. When I arrived there were about 8 patrons in the pub but the car park was full!
