Fleur De Lis, Gillinghamback to pub details please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.
As a building it is a lovely round fronted pub which is in a good location in terms of public transport. It would be an ideal spot for people returning from work via the train the pop in for a pint on their stroll home through Gillingham. However, the pub is completely ruined by the current clientele who obviously spend all day in there blowing their benefit money and destroying the place. What a shame.

I have used this pub for over 10 years as a drinking place before matches at Gillingham and always found it fine the beer is well kept ok no ales but you dont get too much camra style boozers in upper gillingham the prices are decent the landlord friendly and service good the regulars look rough and ready butas I have got to know fair few they are fine and can have a laugh its good natured banter at the bar and a lot more down to earth than the usual run of the mill souless bars that you get say in rochester which is sadly now stuck up its own anus and you pay more for crap beer too!! so dont knock it until given it a proper chance at least its a real working manspub.

A rough and noisy pub. Cream walls and a hostile atmosphere are not the most appealing of features in a pub

Large blank locals pub. Looks more interesting and inviting from the outside than the reality of the inside. And, to be honest, the outside looks tired enough. There's nothing hugely wrong with the place except that it simply exists in a big lump without making any kind of effort. Old fashioned and passed it.

A corner location pub, quite prominent in appearance, yet pretty unremarkable in every other respect, The Fleur De Lis is one for the locals only. Cream walls, a worn carpet and a sense of sheer tedium that sums up my time spent in this two sectioned pub last Friday evening (8th Feb). Those within seemed friendly enough and there was a jukebox. I do like a pub with a jukebox, sigh Oh, there was a pool table and an Alsatian dog on patrol. There were no ales. Read this and save yourself a visit, eh?

A very very depressing pub indeed, with a constant sense of hostility remaining rampant in the atmosphere. I felt unconfortable sitting in the corner of this establishement, whilst being starred at by the cold eyes of the local winos. If you felt the most optomistic person in the world you are likely to feel depressed as hell when you come out of this place. Scruffy pub, but a vital pub for the locals I suppose.
