The Scruffy Duck, Gillingham

Have been in a few times and have to say that this is certainly one of the best pubs in Gillingham. Well maintained interior, they have a dart board and pool table, plus there's also a very pleasant outside seating area. I understand they also do a decent Sunday roast.

It's not in the most salubrious area of Gillingham but don't let that put you off. I used to drink in the Roseneath years ago, which was just round the corner and this place has a very similar feel to it. Gillingham needs more pubs like this.

The Wilton Arms, Belgravia

Pleasant looking pub that we sometimes use during lunch time at work to watch sport. Food was very poor quality, asked for a sausage sandwich and received deep fried crispy sticks that were apparently sausages and wasn't given the crisps and salad that are listed as being served with sandwiches..

The staff are friendly but literally hover around you while you eat and drink and then grab your empty glasses and plates the second you're finished with them...nice to have a clear table but you almost feel pressured to finish your drinks quickly so they can have your glass back!

The Fleur De Lis, Gillingham

As a building it is a lovely round fronted pub which is in a good location in terms of public transport. It would be an ideal spot for people returning from work via the train the pop in for a pint on their stroll home through Gillingham. However, the pub is completely ruined by the current clientele who obviously spend all day in there blowing their benefit money and destroying the place. What a shame.
