A really nice and beautiful place! Ales were great and the staff incredibly friendly. Great pub atmosphere, Absolutely perfect!

a really nice place to go that retains the classic pub interior. Just having been taken over recently, they are working out the needs of the area but are most willing to please. I have brought friends and family and all have enjoyed the friendly service. The man running the operation, Rupert, knows his beers!! If you visited prior to this year, you need to give it a try and be sure and ask Rupert what he would suggest. We wish you a long and good run!!

used to go to this bar before the change of ownership it was a really nice friendly place to spend some time - sadly the new owner ( I believe he's some celebrity) seems to have taken the policy of driving the regular or normal custom away and only wants the shallow high paying celeb wannbees as customers . If your and orange faced , X factor watching , tastless , vulgar, more money than sense chav it will be right up your street . If your in any way normal - DON'T GO NEAR THIS PLACE

Owned by Piers Morgan is it.
Well that's this pub removed from my list until he sells up.

i paid a visit to this bar with my girlfriend, and was shocked VERY POOR SERVICE BY THE STAFF OVER PRICE BEER AND MENU. ( I mean its not Mayfair) When i questioned the pricing the answer i got was " don't you know who owns this bar?". I never knew we had to pay extra for that, i was also told its not an Macdonalds. If your like me and want real old style pubs with real ale go to the city WC1 area where they don't rip you off. And the staff don't think they are doing you a favour by serving you, MUCH MUCH MUCH BETTER PUBS TO BE FOUND , DON'T WASTE YOU TIME OR MONEY HERE.

I admit, I am hugely biaised as I have been hanging around at the Cab for nigh on two years now. However, this place is a real gem. The bar is in the throws of a long drawn out refurb at the moment, but apparently the bar will retain almost all of it's features, with just a minor change with a stairwell added to the new loos... Will the guys be able to get in and out of the toilets now, that will be no fun!!??
The staff have always been friendly and a pleasure to talk to, this hasn't changed. The management on the other hand has changed and I'm delighted to see the "local's favourite" running the place at the moment.
If you haven't discovered the Cab, pop in and enjoy the ambience, it's unusual to find such a nice clientele and atmosphere anywhere in London.

It was only because I was looking for this pub that I spotted it, otherwise I would probably have walked past despite a couple of We Are Still Open signs within all the scaffolding that surrounds the outside. I have to say they can do what they want with the outside I just hope they leave the interior as it is. Its the sort of pub where wherever you walk you find creaking floorboards and signs of genuine age. Theres a nice decorative front bar with a few tables and a traditional pub atmosphere. The back bar is a wonderful collection of old leather seating, etched mirrors and decorative screens. Add to that subdued lighting and the whole place has a sort of Moroccan feel to it. Food served 12-3 & 5-10 weekdays and all day weekends. There are two real ale pumps, serving Doom Bar and Hogs Back TEA on my visit, Japanese Kirin beer on draught and Fruili and Aspinalls cider in bottles. The gents toilet is tiny and I imagine this could cause problems on a busy night. Overall the Hansom Cab is a handsome pub and I recommend a visit.

This is a fantastic place for locals. A very good vibe! There are various areas in which to sit, nice beers and good food. Good mid-week evenings for a couple fo quiet ones and can get a good crowd at times too. The staff I have fond to be very friendly and smiling. There is a cute bar girl whenever I go which I don't mind at all!

This place is a hidden gem, just at the north end of Earls Court Rd, it's quiet enough to make the place ideal for a date, but lively enough that your not being watched!
The staff are very attentive (Table service in a real London pub??!!), but not pushy, the range of beers is interesting, the food is all cooked fresh, all in all, ten out of ten!

Having popped in for a quick pint after work, I found myself staying till the very end. The staff are friendly - and smiling - tentative and just nice.
The food is great with Fish and Chips being my favourite, well it comes in beer batter... need i say more.
A real treat for the West without being pretentious, lovely!

I had possibly the most revolting (and incredibly overpriced) fish and chips I've ever tasted here, which has put me off ever going back. Preferred it when the decor was slightly less OTT.

I was in the pub when a lady asked for a splash of water in her drink. The round cost 20. The landlord (and a right prat he was) told her to either buy a bottle or get some from the toilet. They correctly left.
Decor/food and drink OK. But I wouldn't go there for customer service, which was also slow and irritating.

It seemed to be a real hidden prize, but has since fallen out of favour. Perhaps it was the disappearance of the very cute polish bar maid, or the change of manager? The unusual decor, paintings, and other querky furnishings give it a funky feel. Real cider on tap for Fulham supporters and some good food - it has plenty going for it but just doesnt have the same draw it had - maybe if they brought back the polish bar maid ?

Some fine Chantelliers and more tables than you can shake a twig at, found it all quite overwhelming fo such a small pub. Has fine poles for dancing and serving, and very helpful bar hands. Like the isumbarred kingdom brunai ale, did not like fat chips, they're always raw in the middle people y don't you know that yet?

Since the recent refit it definitely has a little more of a funk-edge than I'm usually keen on but overall the staff are very friendly and the beers are preeeetty cool. The Fruli Belgian fruit beer is certainly worth a try - sweet, very fruity but with a enough body and a distinct lactobacillus-cheek-smacking-tang not to make it too cloying. Other highlights include chuckling at the way-too-funky-for-his-own-good bartender with the messy white-man-dreadlocks :)

I have only been here twice, both on Saturday afternoons, but I cannot fault it. Tucked away between High St Ken and Earls Court this is an absolute gem of a boozer. Great beer and a varied choice, original decor (although I am guessing it is owned by the same people that did The Trafalgar in Chelsea and Jolly Gardeners in Putney).
Friendly and welcoming staff and the food was of a high standard. Easily the best pub within a half mile radius.

This place has been done up and the refurb means its now an atmospheric and buzzy place to drink. Really friendly staff, a great selection of unusual beers and a variety of comfy seating mean I'd definitely recommend it. If there's a problem it's maybe that it's become a bit too trendy - DJ nights etc - but overall the changes are welcome.

Great looking place with relaxed atmosphere, good choice of beers, some very unusual (strawberry beer on draught!?) but yes I had a bad experience with the food as well; the pie was still frozen in the middle and took 30 minutes to sort out, to their credit though the charming staff gave all four of us a free pint to say sorry!

Nice looking pub. I was in the area for a meeting, and a colleague suggested it to me. Went for a post meeting, early evening drink. Excellent range of beers which I mopped up with some nibbles. Will definitely go back if I'm in the area again.

Great new bar. a drastic overhaul has transformed the place into a notting hill-esque gastropub (minus the pretention), and a must visit for all in the area. mellow by day, funky by night. great range of beers, friendly staff and great new menu. Check it out.

Great local. One of my favourites in London...
Friday nights avoid if looking for a relaxed atmosphere - can be too many young 'Rahs' trying to smoke cigars and hold down their pints.
Saturday nights brilliant - very relaxed with enough people to not be empty but few enough not to be crowded.
Friendly staff but agree miss the food.

This is a lovely old boozer. Nothing seems to have been touched for 75 years. Well kept beer and very friendly barstaff. Go somewhere else to eat though.
