The Swan and Bottle, Uxbridge

This is a nice pub. Staff are well trained, courteous and pleasant. The food and beer is a fair quality. Good for a lunchtime/evening meal. Very busy lunch times and will take 45mins to get your order. This pub is exactly the same in d�cor/service/atmosphere/price as The Queens Head in Hammersmith - run by the same brewery. I probably wouldn�t go there if food wasn�t on the menu. Concrete beer garden with lots of tables in the front, not bad in the sun.

The Hansom Cab, Kensington

I was in the pub when a lady asked for a splash of water in her drink. The round cost �20. The landlord (and a right prat he was) told her to either buy a bottle or get some from the toilet. They correctly left.

Decor/food and drink OK. But I wouldn't go there for customer service, which was also slow and irritating.
