The Hansom Cab, Kensington

This place is a hidden gem, just at the north end of Earls Court Rd, it's quiet enough to make the place ideal for a date, but lively enough that your not being watched!

The staff are very attentive (Table service in a real London pub??!!), but not pushy, the range of beers is interesting, the food is all cooked fresh, all in all, ten out of ten!

The Marylebone Bar and Kitchen, Marylebone

This place is a diamond... Quirky atmosphere, excellent gastro menu that changes constantly, and yes some of the premium lagers are touching on the high side, but prices for mainstream beers are probably one of the lowest in the area.

Always a pleasant buzz around the place on the weekday evenings, and a relaxing place to take the other half for a decent lunch at the weekend, what more do you want?
